The Select Committee on the Licensing Act 2003, set up on 25 May 2016, has heard from government ministers, alcohol and live music industry representatives, residents, licensing bodies (including the Institute of Licensing) and the police.
Sarah Clover, Barrister at Kings Chambers and Institute of Licensing Director / Chair of the West Midlands Region served the Select Committee as Specialist Adviser during the course of the review. She is now providing a series of workshops across the country on behalf of the Institute of Licensing in partnership with Kings Chambers to talk about the work and the ramifications of the report.
These workshops are provided free of charge to all and places will be allocated on a
first come first served basis. The workshops will be a unique opportunity to hear first hand about the review, its findings, recommendations and potential reforms as a result.
