Training Excellence Rewarded – 2011 BII NITA Winners Announced
The licensed retail industry’s professional body BII has announced the winners of its 2011 training awards, the BII NITAs, at a ceremony held at The Imperial War Museum, London on Wednesday 30th November.

Entrants are judged on their own merits irrespective of the size of the organisation or the number of people being trained. They do not have to be BII members or BIIAB approved centres or offering BIIAB qualifications.
Cathie SmithCBII Director of BIIAB commented: “We were delighted with the volume of entries to the 2011 NITAs. We were impressed with the quality of these entries, the judging process is rigorous and I congratulate all the shortlisted finalists on their performance.”
Vicky CrossinghamCBII said “I would like to congratulate all the winners of the 2011 BII NITAs. The competition was tough and these winners should be proud of their success.”

Judges look for the individual or couple that makes the best of the resources available, whatever type of outlet – village local, community boozer or high street bar. The type of venue isn’t important, what is important is that entrants show great business ability, are committed to improving staff and the business, show passion to the business and industry and show that they could be a great ambassador for BII and professionalism in licensed retail.
