BII Licensee of the Year

2012 BII Licensee of the Year

Each year, the BII Licensee of the Year Awards recognises excellence in the licence trade. We find the licensee whose approach to running their business shines like a beacon above all others and sets the standard for others to follow. For many it’s the greatest honour they can achieve. Licensee of the Year

Enter the awards and if you reach the finals you’ll receive an industry’s worth of recognition. And that’s not all, finalists receive so much top-level publicity for their business that they can expect to attract a host of new punters and increased profits. For the winner, don’t be surprised if you become so well known for your accomplishments that you’re stopped in the street and asked for your autograph!

The BII Licensee of the Year is the most prestigious award any licensee can win.  Along with the pride you’ll feel in winning; of knowing you’re running the best pub in the country, you’ll also be recognised for excellence in front of your peers, and your business will become the place to visit in your area.

To win the BII Licensee of the Year Award you need to show that you’re pub is the best in the UK delivering outstanding service, business winning initiatives and memorable experiences. Your team must be in a class of their own, helping you run your business better than anyone else, and you must show a commitment to developing their skills and careers.

Innovation and flexibility are important skills. The judges are looking for individuals or couples who have a passion for the industry and achieve exceptional results from the resources they have available; no matter how limited. We’re looking for entries from all types of licensed retail outlet from food-led pubs to high street bars, village local or community pubs.
