Raising the Bar Events 2011

rtb

We hope you were able to attend one of the recent Raising the Bar events, and gained some tips on how to be the best in the industry.

These events were designed as another form of career support and assistance for newcomers into the licensed trade. At BII we feel that it is very important for the future of the industry that we do all we can to ensure that people entering the trade or taking on their first pub are as well equipped and as prepared as possible. BII feel that it is our job to ensure they get this support.

For those of you who weren’t able to attend this time around, the Raising the Bar events were new events held by the BII, supported by the industry and designed specifically for you.

People who attended the event had the chance to meet professionals within the trade, learn about the industry ‘warts and all’ and ask the questions they needed answering. Attendees also got to find out about potential employers, career routes and where to get help finding their dream pub.… and all for FREE!
