Do you want to be BII Licensee of the Year?

04-Sep-2006

Would you like to hold the highly acclaimed title of BII Licensee of the Year, attract valuable local and national press coverage for your venue, be a representative for the licensed trade, and collect a trophy, a cheque for £1000, and tickets to the glittering Publican Awards 2007?

BII, the professional body for the licensed retail sector, this week launched the unique competition, sponsored by Matthew Clark, to find the best licensee the UK has to offer, and now is the time to apply.

Judges will be looking for applicants that run a successful business, show evidence of professionalism, a commitment to training and development, and excellent service and management standards.  They will also be looking for applicants with a winning personality who can stand out as an example for the whole industry.

John McNamara CMBII, Chief Executive of BII, said of the award: “This is a fantastic competition open to all licensees irrespective of venue, it’s all about the individual and how well they run their business. The application form itself provides an opportunity for team building, and a chance for licensees to benchmark their business. And in applying, licensees can show how proud they are of their business and their team.”
