Thirteen out of the Morning Advertiser’s Top Twenty UK pubs 2006 are BII member pubs

John McNamara, BII Chief Executive, said, “I am delighted that such a high proportion of the entries are run by BII members, including the top three. Our members have a strong commitment to professionalism, raising standards and promoting social responsibility; factors we know all contribute to running a successful pub. I look forward to next year’s list – hopefully all 20 will be BII members!

He added, “The Fountain at Clent is run by this year’s BII Licensees of the Year, I would encourage all the pubs on the list to enter this year’s competition, they stand the chance of adding another accolade to their collection.”
