New website - Smokers Welcome

A new website - www.smokerswelcome.co.uk – has been  launched following the start of the public place smoking ban.

 

The site will provide customers with factual information, free of charge, on venues across the UK with outdoor areas where adults can smoke, drink, eat and socialise while remaining legally compliant.  A search facility will enable site visitors to input their post code or a location and search for venues in their area who have made outdoor provisions for smokers.

 

The UK tobacco manufacturers - British American Tobacco, Gallaher Limited and Imperial Tobacco Limited - have established the site as part of their commitment to listening, informing and supporting the licensed trade following the public place smoking ban.
