BIIAB Invigilation Seminars

These events are aimed specifically at centre personnel who are directly involved in the invigilation of BIIAB qualifications.  Each seminar will equip attendees with the knowledge they require to administer BIIAB qualifications and provide the opportunity for feedback and clarification on any aspect of BIIAB Invigilation Instructions and Examination Regulations.

Following the recent BIIAB National Conference, held on 21 February 2008, the seminar will also include a demonstration on the proposed changes to CentreZone and e-assessment.

Due to the limited number of places we urge you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Anglia/London Rent Review Roadshow

Following the knockout success of the Better Business Roadshows earlier this year comes another series of superb BII roadshows for the autumn this time based on rent review advice. Anglia and London members, and those from other regions, are welcome to the joint Anglia/London Rent Review Roadshow on September 16. Phil Dixon CMBII has helped put the events together and he says: “The massive interest and positive feedback generated after last year’s Rent Review Roadshow held at Birmingham’s Motor Museum which attracted over 150 people means we had to put this series on to give members all the facts and advice they will need to ensure as fair an outcome as possible when it comes to rent negotiations. We’ll also be inviting our key partner pubcos to make sure everyone is aware of how they see the issues involved.”

Phil says that experts Barry Gilham FRICS of Fleurets and Roger Vickers FRICS of Brownhill Bateman will be on hand at each event during which attendees will be divided up into smaller groups to receive detailed presentations on how to use the codes of practice and participate in form filling procedures. The venue for this event is the incredible new Duxford Aviation Museum. Leave plenty of time to look around!
