Pubmaster Ltd announced as finalist in the BII 2001 NITAs held in association with the Morning Advertiser

Hartlepool-based pub operator Pubmaster Ltd has been announced as a finalist in the Award for the Best Course Designed to Address Social Responsibility Issues category of the BII 2001 NITAs (Rewarding Training Excellence in Licensed Retailing) held in association with the licensed retail trade newspaper, Morning Advertiser.

The Award for the Best Course Designed to Address Social Responsibility Issues has been developed in this year's competition, to ascertain the organisation that has the best training course to reflect Government strategy for dealing with alcohol-related crime and disorder issues.

The awards are run by the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) who see them as central to the pursuit of ever higher standards of training in this industry. There are eight categories in the BII 2001 NITAs catering for all pub retail companies, both large and small, as well as individual licensees and training organisations. The judges will be looking for evidence that training objectives and outcomes are achieved by maximising the use of resources available.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Luncheon to be held at the Café Royal, London on March 22, 2002. ends]
