Upminster Licensee announced as a finalist
in the BII 2001 NITAs
held in association with the Morning Advertiser
Clare Cutting MBII, of the Crumpled Horn in Upminster, Essex has been announced as a finalist in the Award for the Licensee Trainer of the Year category of the BII 2001 NITAs (Rewarding Training Excellence in Licensed Retailing) held in association with the licensed retail newspaper, Morning Advertiser.
The awards are run by the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) which sees them as central to the pursuit of ever higher standards of training in this industry. There are eight categories in the BII 2001 NITAs catering for all pub retail companies, both large and small, as well as individual licensees and training organisations. This year also sees the introduction of a new category that reflects the demand for social responsibility within the on-licensed retail sector. The judges will be looking for evidence that training objectives/outcomes are achieved by maximising the use of resources available.
The winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Luncheon to be held at the Café Royal, London on March 22, 2002. ends]
