in the BII 2001 NITAs
in association with the Morning Advertiser
Bicester- based training company Arrochar Associates has been announced as a finalist in the Award for the General Provision of Training for the On-Licensed retail sector category of the BII 2001 NITAs (Rewarding Training Excellence in Licensed Retailing) in association with the Morning Advertiser. Proprietor of Arrochar Associates, Carolyn McFarlan ABII has also reached the final stage in the Award for Trainer of the Year in the competition.
The awards are run by the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) who see them as central to the pursuit of ever higher standards of training in this industry. There are eight categories in the BII 2001 NITAs and are open to all pub retail companies, both large and small, as well as individual licensees and training organisations. This year also sees the introduction of a new category that reflects the demand for social responsibility within the on-licensed retail sector. The judges will be looking for evidence that training objectives/outcomes are achieved by maximising the use of resources available.
The winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Luncheon to be held at Café Royal, London on March 22, 2002. ends]
