BII Thames Valley Region offers business boosting tips for local publicans

The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) Thames Valley Region is to host a free seminar with the aim of getting local publicans more involved in BII activities at a local level. The event will be held on Tuesday January 29, 2002 at chairman Anthony Mears’ pub, the Ivy House, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.

The Getting to know your Region event will encompass the Annual General Meeting where the election of the vice-chair, treasurer and secretary for the Thames Valley Regional Council will take place. This provides an opportunity to nominate and meet regional council members as well as discuss business plans and opportunities for licensees in 2002.

Christophe Rollet-Manus of Fuller, Smith and Turner will be hosting a wine tasting session with some top tips to boost wine sales. Finally, guests will be able to enjoy a complimentary buffet while socialising with other delegates.
