BII Central Region holds event at Shuttleworth Old Warden Park, Bedfordshire

The Central Region of the British Institute Innkeeping (BII) is to host a business building event at Shuttleworth Old Warden Park, near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire on Tuesday October 9, 2001.

The event is being supported by Charles Wells and BOC Sureflow. Tony Smith, technical manager from BOC Sureflow, will open the event with a discussion on current cellar legislation and the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997. He will be followed by BII client development director, John Melia GBII, who will be taking delegates through both new and existing BII qualifications.

Next up, BII public relations manager Georgina Wald ABII, will be talking about the importance of the Public Places Charter on Smoking, and Andy Hanselman, of Hallmarks Business Development, will give his ever popular presentation on 16 ways to improve your business. Finally, Charles Wells’ pub alliance estates manager Chris Nicholls and sales director Anthony Wallis will be discussing the changing relationship between regional brewers and their tenants and leaseholders. The day will close with pre-lunch drinks, courtesy of Charles Wells, and a buffet lunch.
