Last call for entries for the BII’s 2002 Licensee of the Year
Competition sponsored by Matthew Clark
Licensees wishing to enter the British Institute Innkeeping’s 2002 Licensee of the Year competition, sponsored by Matthew Clark, must be quick as the closing date for entries is looming. The competition aims to find the licensee or couple who embody high standards in all aspects of running their pub with the determination to build business, a passion for the industry, and the ability to recruit, motivate and retain good staff.
The winner will be announced at the Publican Awards ceremony held in March at London’s Grosvenor House. As well as the prestige of winning the title 2002 BII Licensee of the Year, the winner also receives a trophy and £1,000.
Entrants can be managers, tenants, lessees and freeholders alike – whether they are members of the BII or not. The closing date is October 13, 2001, just 3 weeks away, so get your entries or nominations in quickly by contacting Laura Janes at the BII on 01276 417825, or by e-mail at laura@bii.org for an entry form. ends]
