St Austell Brewery offers unique qualification

04-Apr-2003

St Austell Brewery’s training division has recently become one of only three other approved centres to run The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) Advanced Qualifications Diploma in Licensed Retailing.

St Austell will be offering members and non-members alike the opportunity to attend training workshops to guide them through the national qualification that is awarded by the BII’s wholly-owned awarding body – BIIAB.

Rupert Masters, Awarding Body Manager at the BII, said: "The Advanced Qualifications Diploma in Licensed Retailing is the BII’s highest accolade and is a real must-have for today’s professional in our sector."

The specialist diploma is a unique qualification that is designed to examine what changes candidates have made to their business as a result of attending Advanced Qualification courses. To gain the diploma, candidates need to have completed a combination of five Advanced Qualifications, and produced a portfolio of evidence from their business in practice.
