Top advice on how to increase profitably in your pub
15-Apr-2003
The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) West Midlands region is running an evening seminar aimed at local licensees. The aim of the seminar is to offer advice on how to increase profitability in pubs through high standards of marketing and best practice. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2003 at the Jam House, Birmingham.
Delegates who attend the event will also discover the benefits of adopting the recently launched Hospitable Climates scheme, which can help save as much as 20 per cent of the energy used in pubs. Professor John Forte, energy consultant for Hospitable Climates, will explain the details of this free of charge, energy saving scheme, as well as highlighting case studies around the country where the programme has been successful.
Andy Hanselman of Hallmarks Business Development will then provide delegates with 10 top tips of practical, value-adding ideas to help improve licensees’ sales and profits. This important marketing advice will enable guests to look at ways to raise the profile of their pub, create more customers and improve financial performance.
Following a comfort break and two-course meal whilst socialising with other guests, attendees can stay on at the Jam House to enjoy live jazz music from saxophonist, Joolz Gianni.
Tickets for this event are only £18.50 and are available by calling Claire King in the events team at the BII on 01276 417825 or by e-mail at clairek@bii.org.
