BII and SA Brain & Co host networking event for licensees

23-May-2003

The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) Welsh region, in association with SA Brains Brewery, is holding a business networking day for local licensees. The event, which is being held at The Crawshay Arms, Brains Brewery, takes place on Wednesday May 28, 2003.

Paul Nunny, Managing Director of Cask Marque will open the day by explaining to delegates how they can turn beer quality into profit. He will highlight how Cask Marque can retain and deliver more customers, and improve yields through best practice.

Next to take the stage will be Marc Newey, Regional Sales Manager of the Performing Right Society (PRS), who will talk to guests on the merits of having music in your pub and how it can build their customer base.

Guests will then have the option to go on a guided tour of Brain’s Brewery, which includes a history of their famous beers and ales and covers all aspects of the brewing process. There will also be a presentation and tasting of some Brain’s ales and the opportunity to relax and socialise with other licensees over lunch.

Tickets are excellent value for money at just £10.00. For more information and to reserve your place, please call Gillian Hedditch at the BII on 01276 417846.
