BII TO SPONSOR CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION AT THE IN-HOUSE LAWYERS GROUP AGM AND SYMPOSIUM

BII , the professional body for the licensed retail sector, is sponsoring the champagne reception at the In-House Lawyers Group AGM and Symposium, which will take place on Friday 4 November 2005 at The Hub in Edinburgh. The event, which is to be chaired by Janet Hood, Head of BII Scotland, will be a fantastic opportunity for attendees to network with a number of renowned Scottish businesses.

The event will feature keynote addresses by representatives from prestigious legal firms and educational institutions including Dundas & Wilson, Shepherd & Wedderburn, the Disability Rights Commission and the University of Aberdeen.

Janet Hood, Chairman of the In-House Lawyers Group of the Law Society of Scotland, is delighted that BII Scotland will sponsor the champagne reception and says: "The In-House Lawyers Group AGM and Dinner is a fantastic opportunity to listen to top industry professionals speak about key topical issues. Keynote speakers include Elish Angiolini QC, the Solicitor General; Ruthven Gemmell, Vice President of the Law Society; Iain Matheson, Secretary of the Society of Local Authority Lawyers and Administers in Scotland (SOLAR), and Lynn Welsh, Head of Scottish Legal Affairs at the Disability Rights Commission.
