The Licensing Act 2003 – crucial update for Wessex licensees
03-Sep-2003
The Wessex branch of the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) is providing local licensees with the chance to learn the basics of the new Licensing Act and the issues surrounding the change to the law.
Brian Maughan CMBII, the BII's membership director who also sits on the DCMS licensing advisory board, will explain the key points of the Licensing Act and exactly what licensees need to do now in order to make the transition to the new regime as easy as possible.
Robert Feal Martinez FBII, secretary for the BII’s Wessex region, will then follow with details of the new personal and premises licence applications.
The information provided in this breakfast meeting will be of utmost importance to all those involved in the industry and with many of the BII's regional licensing roadshows now sold out is an excellent opportunity for licensees in the area to get hold of the facts.
The seminar will take place at the Kings Arms Hotel, Malmesbury in Wiltshire on Tuesday, September 9, with registration and breakfast at 9am. Tickets are excellent value at just £10.00 per person.
For details and to reserve your place, please call Robert Feal Martinez on 01793 822997.
