Limited places left for unique Awarding Body conference
24-Sep-2003
Tickets are selling fast for a unique one-day conference, organised by the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) to be held at the University of Warwick on Thursday, November 27, 2003.
This inaugural event is a must-attend for all those in the vocational education industry and will bring together high profile keynote speakers to give a range of perspectives on policy and implementation. The conference will focus on how to achieve a vocational qualifications system that is more responsive, relevant and flexible, and will consider the impact of the Government’s National Skills Strategy.
Delegates also have the option of attending an in-depth post conference workshop on Friday, November 28 – Review of Vocational Qualifications – run by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).
With spaces filling up quickly, the FAB conference is a not to be missed event aimed at senior managers and decision makers from awarding bodies, employers, training providers, sector organisations, colleges, government departments and national agencies.
To reserve your place for the conference and/or the second day workshop, call Claire King on 01276 417825 or e-mail Clairek@bii.org.
Notes to Editors:
FAB was formed in 2000 by the four largest vocational awarding bodies and now has over 30 vocational awarding body members. FAB’s activities focus on achieving a vocational qualifications system that meets the differing needs of candidates, employers, education and training providers, and awarding bodies, as well as offering good value to funding and taxpayers.
