British Institute of Innkeeping offers free regional seminars on licensing reform

02-Oct-2003

Publicans in the Northampton and Coventry areas are invited to attend two free seminars on the forthcoming changes to licensing laws in England and Wales.

The seminars, which have been arranged by the BII's Regional Chairman Bernard Brindley, will offer an overview of the new licensing regime and represent an invaluable opportunity to ask the questions you need answered.

Every pub in England and Wales will need to comply with the new laws as of 2005. As part of its commitment to inform and advise both members and non-members on the changes the BII's Central Region has invited Amanda Pillinger of licensing law firm Harrison Clark Solicitors, to speak at both events and lead a panel of experts in a question and answer session.

The two seminars will run from 10am until 12.30pm and the following dates and venues have been organised:

October 15 - The Sun, High Street, Hardingstone, Northampton

October 22 - The Humber Hotel, Humber Road, Coventry

For more information or to book your free place at either of these events please contact Bernard Bringley on 01788 832 359.

The BII is also running licensing seminars in other areas, for further details please call the BII head office in Camberley on 01276 684449.
