BII Benchmarking and Accreditation Services (BIIBAS) has launched its new corporate website – biibas.bii.org. As well as providing information about the scheme and the companies who have been accredited, including links to accredited codes, the site has useful links for those considering a career within the industry and will be used to record compliance with the codes.

BII is asking members to post their views and opinions on the proposed changes to the Licensing Act, so that we may better represent your interests and attitudes during the consultation.

A group of nine motorbike riders organised by the BII raced up the motorway last Friday 23rd July to raise funds for LVS Hassocks, a school for pupils with Aspergers’ and Autism, run by the Licensed Trade Charity.

Punch Partnerships, the leased division of Punch Taverns, has had its new Code of Practice formally accredited by BII Benchmarking and Accreditation Services (BIIBAS), the first major pub company to do so.

BII’s Chief Executive Charity motorbike ride is now underway. Neil Robertson, who is joined by fellow bikers in the trade left the BII Head Office in Camberley this afternoon.

BII’s long awaited Pre-Entry Awareness Training otherwise known as PEAT is now available. PEAT is an interactive e-learning package designed for new entrants to the pub industry, to help them understand the complexities of tenancy or lease agreements.

BII Chief Executive Neil Robertson’s charity motorbike ride taking place on July 22 and 23 from Brighton along the South Coast is attracting great interest among fellow bikers in the trade.
