Thinking about running a pub?

This section of the BII website is aimed at anyone who is thinking about running their own pub. We aim to provide a ‘one stop shop’ and 'signposting' service for people going into the trade, which offers all the information needed to ensure you are fully prepared.

On the left hand side you will see a number of tabs offering advice and tips to help you set up and run a successful pub business.

Becoming a member of the BII will allow you access to further assistance, information and will help save you money.

New Workshop:

The People 1st Training Company and Exemplas are running a series of business workshops for owners and managers of pubs, clubs and bars who are new to the industry, as well as those thinking about managing a pub or investing in the sector, and are looking for insider tips and advice to help grow their business. Free BII Membership will also be given to those people who attend the event. For those people who are already a BII member, an additional years membership will be given.
