Hospitality checklist app Trail has launched a digital alternative to the Safer Food Better Business diary pack.
The simple EHO-approved app replaces the FSA's outdated paper-based diary, and has Assured Advice from a Primary Authority partnership with Milton Keynes “Trail makes it easier for food businesses to comply. It improves relationships between businesses and LAs by simplifying record-keeping, ultimately driving up standards within the food industry.”
Milton Keynes Primary Authority went on to explain “Trail has a Primary Authority partnership with Milton Keynes Council, this means their Food Safety Management System is an official way of delivering the FSA’s Safer Food Better Business system throughout England & Wales."
The FSA’s SFBB diary is over 20 years old. As part of a commitment to improving food safety standards for the future, the FSA recognise that there are many opportunities to do better through digitisation. Trail Founder & MD, Joe Cripps said “No one should be using paper checklists anymore. It’s a waste of trees and useful operational data.
The price point of digital checklists has been a huge barrier for small businesses though, and we knew there was a need for something incredibly simple and affordable.
