The move is aimed at highlighting the individuals and businesses in the sector who are putting their people first and is part of the BII’s ongoing pledge to raise industry standards and share best practice in training and people management.
The NITAs took place on November 21st this year at London’s prestigious Café de Paris, preceded by the sector’s first ever People & Training Conference at Bafta in Piccadilly.
Mike Clist, the BII’s CEO, said:
“We are delighted to re-launch this important event. The whole sector understands the importance of developing staff at every point in their careers. Hospitality needs to be regarded as a wonderful potential career for young people and we aim to recognise the best training in the sector.”
The BII is delighted to unveil the six overall category winners of the 2016 NITAs, a national awards programme celebrating the very best in training excellence and innovation within licensed retail.
The awards will be held again at the fabulous Café de Paris.
