From 24 September, the government are introducing late evening restrictions on closing times for the Hospitality Industry. To ensure our customers can continue to make the most of their investment in live sport while these restrictions are in place, Sky Sports have worked with the Premier League to secure a change to the 8.15pm Premier League kick-off times, moving them to the earlier start time of 8pm.
At a time when stadiums are closed, this will ensure Sky Sports venues can continue to bring their customers the experience they’ve been missing, while adhering to the Government coronavirus restrictions.
These new kick-off times come into effect from Monday 28 September, with Fulham now hosting Aston Villa at 5.45pm and Arsenal's trip to Liverpool now starting at 8pm.
Sky Sports customers can also continue to show an extensive range of live sport, during both weekdays and at the weekends, including the EFL, Scottish Premiership and UEFA Nations League.
And it’s not just football: coming up over the next few months customers can show a packed sporting line-up, including Formula 1, domestic and international cricket, European Tour golf, horse racing, rugby league and more.
Our partnership with our customers is very important to us. To support those who are closed or unable to operate an indoor service due to a local lockdown, intervention, health and safety or local authority guidance, they are able to suspend their Sky service until they can reopen.
