The UK welcomes it's first apprenticeship for brewers

The UK’s first brewer apprenticeship has been launched by HIT Training

Supporting the diverse role of a brewer in small and large breweries alike, the Level 4 apprenticeship from HIT Training is a comprehensive 18 month learning programme facilitated by the British Beer and Pub Association. The programme also  includes six two-day residential workshops run by The University of Nottingham’s International Centre for Brewing Science, where apprentices will learn about different brewing techniques and styles. The brewer apprenticeship will improve employees’ skills and increase their efficiency in what is a demanding and often sought-after role.
