Mark Robson

Mark is the Chair of the BII and Managing Director of the independent pub company Red Mist Leisure. Working in the industry for over 15 years, Mark has a wealth of experience in the licensed trade. He continues to champion the BII, promoting awareness of the support and benefits available.

Paul Eeles

Paul is Chief Executive of Skills and Education Group, who own and operate the BIIAB. Paul has been in the industry for 34 years, finding his passion for training and teaching when at college.  Paul and his team are ensuring the BIIAB continue to be the Awarding Body of choice for the Hospitality sector.

 

Katy Moses

Katy Moses is the Managing Director of KAM Media, a boutique research agency specialising in the hospitality and retail industries. Katy's love of our sector is well known and works alongside the BII team to offer regular insight reports for members.


Greg Mangham

Greg has been in the pub, leisure and hospitality business for over 40 years. Greg is the Chair of our London Region. He also founded Only A Pavement Away, a charity whose purpose is to help the homeless, rough sleepers, ex-offenders and VETs find work in the hospitality industry.


Jo Graham

Jo has owned and operated late night licensed premises in Glasgow, and has been an active member of the BII council in Scotland as Chair for several years. In addition, she has been providing training to the licensed trade through BIIAB and has a passion for all things whisky. She created "The Whisky Ambassador” training programme, accredited through the BIIAB, which is now being delivered around the globe.


Kelly McCarthy

Kelly is the landlady of Ye Old Sun Inn alongside her husband Ashley, having taken over the idyllic country pub in 2004. They won BII Licensee of the Year in 2013. They have worked together in the hospitality and retail trade for more than 20 years, making a name for themselves with their award-winning and innovative food. 


Matt Phipps

Matt is head of TLT's Licensing team, working with clients to set up robust due diligence systems. He joined TLT in 2004 and is a regular speaker at national licensing conferences. As well as being a BII Trustee he has been named a Star individual by Chambers and Partners and is a top tier, leading individual in Legal 500 (licensing regions).


Neil Morgan

Neil is the Senior Director, Head of Brokerage for the Pub & Restaurant Division at Christie & Co, specialist business property adviser and market leader in the Licensed sector. Joining Christie & Co in 1994, he worked across the private hospitality market, and the Leisure & Development Division before joining the Corporate Pub & Restaurant team, and is actively involved in significant pubs and restaurants valuation and transactional activity.


Phil Strong

Phil has worked in the hospitality industry for over 40 years at Allied Breweries, Allied Domecq and briefly with Punch Taverns in various roles from area manager jobs, in both managed and leased pubs through to more senior positions as a director. He then ran and part owned a multiple pub restaurant business, Chameleon Bar and Dining Ltd, successfully for 16 years.

Bruce Cuthburt

Bruce is the Director of Commercial Customers at BT Sport, a role he has held since the end of 2012. His route into media was via time spent in the technology industry working for the likes of Rank Xerox where he was given what he considers to be an absurdly high level of autonomy to succeed and develop at such an early stage in his career.

Tim Smith

As a Tax Advisory Partner with Shaw Gibbs, Tim specialises in tax planning for entrepreneurs, owner managed businesses and family owned businesses, helping them to achieve their goals. He also undertakes commercial tax planning for entrepreneurial businesses, both owner managed and PE backed. Tim is the Basingstoke Office Managing Partner for Shaw Gibbs.
